It wasn't a GHOSTY, and it wasn't manifested energy. It was a kid, and she's been following us. James and Evie are holding her down while I write this, and then I'll see what's in her head.
This whole thing explains why I couldn't sense her and why she was invisible. She seems to be able to make forcefields or similar around herself, so we couldn't see her or sense her.
Luckily Scarlet was trying to make us some late dinner when she was disturbed. The stupid kid got a frying pan around the head. Never mess with Scarlet when she's a-cookin'. She hae wanged hir wi' a skillet!
However, this has some more serious implications. If there was somebody following us, and presumably reporting to the Government, this means that not only are there more like us, but they're on the Government's side.
Which is bad, because there's only 8 of us and who knows how many of them.
